Elise: I think we are becoming a lot more accepting and vocal about putting more a diverse group of people on screen. But it’s still within like a very limited lens of an ideal beauty standard, in the sense that I would love to start seeing more body types on screen. And more like different gender expressions on screen. Because often like, you know, I was just out for Pride last weekend and I was like queer community in Toronto does not look like a queer people that i see on TV. […] I think that’s so important as well. I want to see body hair. I want to see hips.
